₹1.16 Crore Marriage Assistance Distributed to 241 Beneficiaries in North Chennai

The Honorable Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Thiru P.K. Sekarbabu, today (26.12.2025), distributed marriage financial assistance worth ₹1,16,25,000 (Rupees One Crore Sixteen Lakh and Twenty-Five Thousand only), along with 8-gram gold coins each, to 241 beneficiaries from the North Chennai district, under various marriage assistance schemes of the Social Welfare and Women’s Rights Department, at a government function held at Bharathi Women’s College, George Town, Chennai(PDF 227KB)
